Tori Coffee was born from love, resilience, and the quiet power of reconnection.
In 2020, during a time of global uncertainty, my grandfather and I started dreaming about opening a coffee shop—a place where people could gather, share stories, and feel at home. But when he was diagnosed with cancer, that dream was put on hold, and our family faced a deeply personal battle.
During his treatment at the VA hospital, something unexpected happened. Surrounded by fellow veterans, my grandfather—who had served in Vietnam but never stayed connected to the veteran community—found himself back among brothers. Through shared struggles and unspoken understanding, he rediscovered a part of himself he had long set aside. That experience reawakened his sense of belonging and gave him a new mission: to serve those who serve.
After he overcame cancer, we returned to the idea of starting a coffee company. With my background in media and his renewed purpose, we created Tori Coffee—not just as a business, but as a way to give back. Built as an e-commerce brand, Tori Coffee exists to support veterans, law enforcement, and first responders, while bringing people together over something as simple and meaningful as a great cup of coffee.
